Electric Warrior captures the drama of rock & roll by outfitting performers and music lovers with fashion forward leather accessories. Established in 2011 in New York City, the brand takes inspiration from retro rockstars, creating unique items for on and off the stage.

 

Designer Vicky "Boogie" Rocco combines quality craftsmanship with an emphasis on elevated style. Her unique bespoke method is a go-to for rockers seeking one-of-a-kind leather pieces tailored to their persona. Vicky applies her extensive art, design and high-end fashion background towards each creation.

Specializing in guitar straps, handbags, belts and vintage leather restoration, â€‹Electric Warrior approaches each project with careful consideration to the client's individual needs.

ABOUT the designer

Designer Vicky Rocco, AKA Boogie, was born and raised in New York. She has been sewing and designing for over 20 years, specializing in leather since 2011. Her upbringing is defined by interests in rock music, visual arts, and performing arts of all kinds. She received her technical training in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and actively continues studies in various areas of fashion and other crafts.

Vicky's career experiences encompass high-end art gallery management, specialty fashion retail business, apparel industry business, e-commerce business, and fashion education. Her professional credentials include having curated rock & roll photography exhibits and events with Morrison Hotel Gallery, coordinating events with John Varvatos, and managing rockstar fashion retail and events for Andrew Charles (of the Hilfiger family). She has worked with many notable music and entertainment industry personalities and provided services to rockstars, celebrities, famous muses, and other high-profile clientele.

 

Vicky established Electric Warrior in 2011 while fully immersed in the rising rock & roll scene of downtown New York City. She coordinated live music events and parties with local musicians, while providing leather fashions for their performances. She became a go-to designer for musicians seeking a flashy and unique piece of stage wear.
